This paddleboarding/SUP adventure gives you the opportunity to explore the most untouched and beautiful beaches in Ireland. Get off the beaten track and try local seafood delicacies caught below your very paddle boards. Discover hauntingly exquisite national parks, lush gardens and captivating castles. Listen to Ireland’s traditional language and experience the rich culture. From beautiful white sandy beaches to famous ship wrecks, this tour packs a punch! Hike rugged sea cliffs at sunset and dance Ceili sets before relaxing in in a local Spa.

Day 1 – Donegal – Ballymastocker Beach – Glenveagh National Park – Gweedore

Departure from hotel to Portsalon/Ballymastocker Beach. Take in the most enchanting views of Inishowen stopping along the coast that hugs the Lough Swilly on route to Ballymastocker beach for your first paddle. (Ballymastocker beach was once voted the most beautiful beach in the world by the Observer)

After your paddle, it is time for a hearty lunch, try the local seafood delicacies in the Pier restaurant overlooking Ballymastocker beach. Then onto the bus to visit the Glenveagh National Park, Ireland’s second-biggest park. Home to red deer and an expatriated eagle, it is a remote and hauntingly enchanted wilderness that includes a fabulous castle and lush gardens.

A short bus trip that evening to the Irish-speaking village of Gweedore and a cradle of Irish culture. Relax and unwind at your hotel. Try their restaurant where their chefs have a passion for local produce.

Day 2 – Magheraclogher Beach – Carrickfin Beach – Slieve League – Sligo

Early breakfast at the hotel before a short bus drive to Magheraclogher beach for a brisk walk and hear the tale of the famous shipwreck “Friend of the Sea” This ship promotes nothing but positive vibes and is a playground to local people and holidaymakers alike.

A short bus trip to your next stop is Carrickfin beach, this blue flag beach is a long stretch of white sand beach backed by extensive sand dunes. Take a stroll, some instagrammable photos or even a quick swim!

Our next paddleboard hiding gem is leaving from Cruit Island Pier along the coast visiting a few caves along the way, maybe view some seals and their pups if they are feeling friendly!

Sunset hike up Ireland’s second (after Cliffs of Moher) most dramatic, majestic and wild cliff faces in Slieve League. With a newfound sense of awe, you will feel at the edge of the world looking out onto the Atlantic ocean.

Take the bus to Sligo to your Sligo accommodation before some local Irish music and Ceili dancing in a nearby pub.

Day 3 – Westport – Clew Bay – Croagh Patrick

It’s an early bus ride to Westport for a paddle on Clew Bay. A beautiful sheltered bay with hundreds of small islands. The bay has flat water harbours, inlets and beaches. It is dotted with many historic buildings such as the Rockfleet castle owned by a 16th-century pirate queen called Grace O Malley.

If you are feeling you have more energy to burn, climb Croagh Patrick! A 3 – 4 hour round trip. This mountain is a pilgrimage in honour of St Patrick. It was on the summit that the patron saint of Ireland fasted for forty days and nights.

Day 4 – Galway – Kinvara – Dublin

Another beautiful bus journey from Clew Bay to Kinvara in the southwest of County Galway. Enjoy your SUP session here admiring the beauty of the seaport village with Dungaire castle as your backdrop

The castle in Kinvara is enchanting and picturesque. It was Built in 1520 and hosted many dignitaries including the high kings of Ireland and his warriors, these walls have tall tales to tell.

Lunch in Kinvara before returning to Dublin and checking into your hotel for the next day’s departure.
